چکیده
Two Bi–Mo–Co–Fe–O catalysts were synthesized by flame spray pyrolysis and tested for their catalytic performance in selective oxidation of propylene to acrolein. Pronounced structural changes during temperature–programmed reaction observed operando X–ray absorption spectroscopy, diffraction, Raman thermogravimetric analysis. During oxidative treatment, mainly binary oxide phases (α–Bi2Mo3O12, β–CoMoO4, Fe2(MoO4)3) observed, but single (MoO3) or ternary (Bi3(FeO4)(MoO4)2) oxides also formed depending on the relative elemental catalyst composition. oxidation, reduction Fe3+ Fe2+ led a strong rise activity induced further phase transformations. MoO3 was found be unselective towards acrolein essential binding other oxides. The formation β–Co0.7Fe0.3MoO4 Bi3(FeO4)(MoO4)2 as well synergistic interplay with α–Bi2Mo3O12 are key factors high performance. combination complementary methods crucial reveal new structure–activity/selectivity correlations, therefore bridging knowledge gap between simplified model systems complex applied catalysts.

In the present study, molecular dynamics simulations have been utilized to provide fundamental understanding of melting behavior of pure Pd and Pt nanoparticles with the size of 10 nm in diameter, both free and graphene-supported during continuous heating. The embedded atom method is employed to model the metal-metal interactions, whereas a Lennard-Jones potential is applied to describe the met...

The chromium/vanadium bimetallic Phillips catalysts developed by our research group have been proved to be a promising process to produce bimodal polyethylene using a single-reactor process. The vanadium loading of CrV-1/1, CrV-1/2, and CrV-1/3 has a significant effect on the polymerization activity, product molecular weight (MW), as well as th...
متن کاملCatalysts for the Selective Oxidation of Methanol
In industry, one of the main catalysts typically employed for the selective oxidation of methanol to formaldehyde is a multi-component oxide containing both bulk Fe2(MoO4)3 and excess MoO3. It is thought that the excess MoO3 primarily acts to replace any molybdenum lost through sublimation at elevated temperatures, therefore preventing the formation of an unselective Fe2O3 phase. With both oxid...
متن کاملLow-temperature CO oxidation on multicomponent gold based catalysts
In this work the development of gold catalysts, essentially based on γ-alumina with small superficial fraction of Ce-Fe mixed oxides as support for the low temperature CO oxidation is proposed. Characterization results obtained by means of TEM, OSC, XPS, UV-Vis spectroscopy and H2-TPR are employed to correlate the activity data with the catalysts composition. The bare γ-alumina supported gold c...
